They frolic in groups in the water\u2014some floating leisurely, soaking up the sun; some diving and swimming swiftly, as if playing hide-and-seek with companions; others mischievously climbing up and down the rocks, showing off their agility. Their plump bodies, fluffy heads, and cute antics make us laugh, melting our hearts.<\/p><p>It\u2019s estimated that around 1,000 to 2,000 seals from Australia and New Zealand live in these waters. As marine mammals, they have streamlined bodies\u2014their front limbs evolved into flippers, and their hind limbs can fold backward, making them extremely agile in water, like elegant dancers. Carnivorous by nature, seals mainly feed on fish, squid, and crustaceans. When hunting, they display impressive diving skills, able to dive dozens or even hundreds of meters deep to find food. They take slow, steady steps, foraging leisurely on the grass, occasionally lifting their heads to curiously observe visitors. Up close, their big eyes and long eyelashes are incredibly cute. Staff tell us that giraffes are herbivores, mainly feeding on leaves and twigs. Their flexible tongues allow them to easily grasp food.<\/p><p>Moving on, we see majestic lions\u2014some lying on the grass, soaking up the sun; others pacing in their territory, showcasing their dominance. Known as the \u201cKings of the Savanna,\u201d lions are carnivores with strong bodies and sharp claws, making them top predators. At the zoo, keepers regularly provide fresh meat to meet their nutritional needs.<\/p><p>Not far away, rhinos catch our attention. Their large size and rough skin give them a gentle,\u61a8\u539a appearance. Herbivorous animals, rhinos have valuable horns, which sadly make them targets for poaching. Here, staff care for them diligently, providing a safe habitat.<\/p><p>The zoo is also home to many other lovely animals, such as lively lemurs, agile zebras, and colorful flamingos. Each animal has its own unique charm, broadening our horizons. Here, we not only observe these animals up close but also learn about their habits, habitats, and conservation needs through informative displays and staff explanations.
